Critical utility systems are powered on ahead of testing, following strict permit-to-work lockout/tagout, and safety procedures. Tested systems include:

• Service, instrument, air, nitrogen, diesel, HVAC systems
• DCS, ESD, FGS, and PLC control systems

Every piece of equipment must operate under controlled conditions to confirm equipment readiness before final start-up.
MCCS performs:

• Turbines pre-start checks

Plant commissioning requires full integration between field instruments and control systems, such as:

• Final loop checks from instruments to DCS
• Alarm and trip logic testing
• Shutdown sequences

• ESD/FGS functionality testing

These systems ensure accurate control, monitoring, and emergency response capability.

Once utilities and safety systems are proven, MCCS commissions process systems like:

• Flare system readiness
• Process gas/hydrocarbon introduction
• Chemical injection start-up
• Line-up and isolation checks
• Equipment operation readiness

These ensure that each process unit operates within design parameters.

The following safety systems are thoroughly validated to ensure personnel and asset protection during operations:

• Fire & Gas System testing
• Deluge and sprinkler activation tests
• Emergency shutdown ESD logic execution
• Blowdown system operation
• Pressure relief device validation
• Emergency lighting & escape route checks

Previous tests to this stage are simulated without oil and gas. The following systems need to be proven to run in real operating conditions:

• Flow tests
• Pressure control stability
• Temperature control response
• Separator performance testing
• Compressor/ turbine performance testing
• Pump NPSH & flow curve checks

Few oil and gas, LNG, and energy plants start operating perfectly on the first try. Commissioning tests will often reveal gaps that require targeted fine-tuning to meet the design intent. MCCS delivers:

The facility is now fully operational and ready for production.
