• Timely preparation of detailed engineering proposals for the company’s complete range of products and services.
• Accurately interpret client’s technical specification and produce a compliant technical proposal; offering more suitable alternatives where appropriate.
• Accurately interpret client’s commercial requirements and ensure any commercial or contractual risks to the company are identified and mitigated.
• Ensure proposals pricing and estimating is in line with company’s agreed strategies on sales and marketing, charge out rates and availability of engineering resource.
• Act as a single point of contact for client and undertake a negotiating role when preparing costed proposals.
• Arrange and take a lead role in ‘bid review’, ‘bid clarification’ and ‘sales handover’ meetings.
• Write high quality technical and commercial documents and reports and present them to both internal and external audiences.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to assist in collating accurate data for the preparation of proposals.

• Assisting in preparing and developing technical and commercial elements of major tenders and proposals, and support project teams as required.
• Responsible in assisting proposal preparation and development of proposal strategies.
• Interface with field service, projects, engineering, fabrication and commissioning team.
• Assist and execute work activities closely with project personnel.
• To ensure project management is in line with contracts terms and conditions and interpret Client’s needs to management for constructive coordination with team and Client.

• Present for interviews and business development and research for potential projects.
• Preparation of RFP, RFQ, award submittals and prepare application responses.
• Create qualifications packages, project descriptions, award submittals and project descriptions and Update and maintain the proposal and business development calendar.
• Engage in proposal sections coordination, final formatting, assembly, packaging and delivery.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and conferences.
• Support the Business Development Coordinator in conducting research and writing proposals and reports.
• Assist with special projects and content development including project interviews, presentations, and other billable client work.
• Contribute to the firm’s strategic growth initiative in alignment with quarterly and yearly objectives.
• Format, proof, and finalize all outgoing documents including proposals, reports, client correspondence, and other project-specific communications as needed.
